Jazmin Whitley unveils the Li Cari Fall Winter 2009 Collection for LA Fashion week
On March 15th, 2009 the fashion world will get its first look at the Li Cari fall09 collection. Red Carpet arrivals will begin at 8:30pm with a chic cocktail party for buyers, editors, celebrities, and VIP guests. With the catwalk set to begin at 10pm.
ALHAMBRA, CA, March 08, 2009 /Fashion PR News/ -- At the unbelievable age of 20 Miss Whitley has continued to amaze fashion lovers around the world. March 2009 marks Jazmin Whitley's fourth year showcasing her collection during Los Angeles Fashion Week . The venues just keep getting bigger. This year there will be one thousand seats to fill at the historical Los Angeles Theater 615 S Broadway, Los Angeles, CA. Built between 1911 and 1931, this majestic six-story main lobby and auditorium of carved plaster ornamentation, mirrors, and cove-lit murals recall the glamorous days of 1930s Hollywood. The center aisle will be removed and in its place will stand a runway that extends sixty five feet down the center aisle.
Jazmin Whitley the designer of the Li Cari clothing label will be unveiling her fall winter 2009 collections as the finale show for Boxeight fashion week. Miss Whitley comments, "My vision for this collection has a very classic and comforting feel, pieces that will bring a feeling of soothing." She continues "With the times we are living in, we need to be able to have a peaceful mind set and that starts first thing in the morning when we are picking out our clothing. I wanted to convey a sense of the basics and nature". As the fashion world continues to speed up and hasten through trends, Li Cari lingers on timeless and classic looks that are eternally appealing, with a modern touch influenced by the designer's youthful and innovative personality. The allure of the Li Cari fashion house is its youthful charm and clever twists on otherwise uniform trends.
Fall/Winter '09 will be the fifth season in which BOXeight has played host to LA Fashion Week , Downtown.
