CHARLOTTE, NC, April 23, 2009 /Fashion PR News/ -- Belk announces the arrival of ASSETS by Sara Blakely, a new brand of chic shapewear by the founder of SPANX. The brand will initially be offered in 49 Belk stores and online at Belk.com and will be expanded to additional locations in the fall.
Spanx is the shapewear brand known for revolutionizing the hosiery industry and the way women wear clothes. Founder Sara Blakely wanted to find a way to share her slimming secrets with even more women, so she created Assets by Sara Blakely. The expertly designed shapewear brand is now available at select Belk doors, the nation's largest privately owned department store with locations in 16 Southern states.
Available in the Belk intimate apparel and hosiery departments, the Assets shapewear collection is made up of hosiery shapers, body-shaping legwear, and slimming intimate apparel - all designed to expand women's wardrobes and eliminate such fashion faux pas as visible panty lines.
