Mindee S. Childers, former model, has built a second career as a garment design consultant
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA, June 10, 2009 /Fashion PR News/ -- Mindee S. Childers, Consultant for Fit Model Consulting, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of fashion consulting.
With 22 years of professional experience, Ms. Childers specializes in garment design. In 2005, she established Fit Model Consulting, a garment design consulting firm. Her responsibilities include recruiting and training other women to consult with various businesses within the fashion industry. Ms. Childers also brings to her position previous experience as a model for print commercials and infomercials; after giving birth to her third child, she decided to become a stay-at-home mother and years later reentered the industry in a different capacity. She attributes her success to her work ethic, self-confidence, determination, decisiveness, and focus on her goals.
In addition to industry-related training, Ms. Childers completed coursework in child psychology at Southern Methodist University. She looks forward to expanding Fit Model Consulting further in the coming years and developing it into a top resource in the fashion industry.
