NEW YORK, NY, September 03, 2009 /Fashion PR News/ -- Bringing awareness to the runway during New York's Fashion Week

Dasoil Jeans and American Forests, the nation's oldest citizen conservation nonprofit, is painting the fashion industry Green by presenting the Greenotopia Fashion Show during one of New York's most important event: New York Fashion week. On September 10th, 2009 at the Metropolitan Pavilion, daSoil Jeans will showcase its museum-style "season-less" collection; debuting its sustainable organic/salvage jeans that you can wear from the runway to a night out on the town. daSoil Jeans will also be showcasing its newest addition, children's apparel, Alla Couture Jr.

Fashion week has always been limited to magazine editors, designers' friends, and celebrities, but not this fashion show. The Greenotopia Fashion Show invites everyone to join us. Clinton Allen, Creative Director of daSoil Jeans says, "If our product is for the consumer, why not open the show to the public so they can see it first hand?" At the event, consumers will have the opportunity to be the first to see daSoil's "season-less" collection while experiencing the fashion week hype, all for a good cause. Seeing that daSoil Jeans is committed to sustainable practices, social responsibility, denim design and function for its consumer's lifestyle, a portion of the proceeds collected will be donated to support the American Forests' Global Re-Leaf program.

daSoil Jeans combines fashion with a cause; as such, daSoil Jeans brings awareness to the runway in addition to trendsetting eco-chic fashion for its consumers, who want to save the Earth one pair of jeans at a time. Both daSoil Jeans and American Forests believe in the fundamentals of restoration and preservation. "American Forests has been "fashionably" green for over 130 years," says Executive Director of American Forest, Deborah Gangloff, "and we are proud to partner with daSoil Jeans for the Greenotopia Fashion Show. Because of Greenotopia, fashionable folks can show their green by wearing daSoil Jeans and planting trees with American Forests."

In addition, daSsoil Jeans is also participating in Vogue Fashion's Night Out event where consumers will have the opportunity to enjoy daSoil's creative presentation while having the opportunity to walk away with a pair of their very own green jeans. The premium denim ranges from $85-375.

Headquartered in North Carolina, daSoil Jeans is a U.S. based company with a grass roots love of fashion, country, and the environment in which we live, work, and play. daSoil Jeans keeps all manufacturing processes close to home with 99% of the manufacturing based in the U.S. At daSoil Jeans we want to create an extended family of new ideas, concepts, and excellence by focusing on the fresh, small, high-end boutiques based in the U.S. For more information on daSoil jeans, please visit www.dasoiljeans.com
