Gail Sherman brings fashion to the women of Livingston County
BRIGHTON, MI, October 2, 2009 /Fashion PR News/ -- Gail Sherman, Owner of Impulse Boutique, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fashion and design.
As the owner of Impulse Boutique, Gail Sherman is responsible for fitting women in appropriate denim styles for their lifestyle and figure, overseeing six employees, accounting, and purchasing multiple brand lines for the store, and marketing.
She attributes her success to constantly being creative and to her ability to interact with her customers. She became involved in her profession because she has an extensive background in retail, having worked as a controller for an architectural firm that worked with high-end retailers for 25 years. Ms. Sherman wanted to bring fashion to the women of Livingston county.
Ms. Sherman completed college coursework in Computer Studies and Business. She is also a member of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce and a Co-Chairwoman of the Downtown Brighton Merchants Group. Impulse Boutique was named as one of the top five in 'Best Women's Boutique in the Detroit Area,' on Channel 4's "4 the Best" 2008 contest.
Impulse Boutique is a women's fashion boutique that provides designer denim styles from New York and Los Angeles, and specializes in providing best fits and fashions for the over-35 age group.
