Shapeez to Expand as Sales Soar
Shapeez To Expand Corporate Offices and Distribution Facility Following Strong Sales of Innovative Bra and Shapewear Garments
NEW YORK, NY, March 12, 2010 /Fashion PR News/ -- Maryland based bra and shapewear company Shapeez, a leader in the intimates industry, is proud to announce that the company has signed a 5 year lease to move their corporate offices and distribution facility to Avenel Business Park in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The new 4,300 square foot office and warehouse will double the size of the current Shapeez facility and offers virtually unlimited expansion possibilities for the future.
The move comes on the heels of significant growth in 2009 across all Shapeez market sectors including their Retail and Wholesale Divisions in the United States and Canada. Sales for 2009 were up a record 235%.
"This expansion will allow us to provide efficient management and distribution of our products while continuing to provide excellent customer service as more consumers and retailers embrace our innerwear products," said David Berner, Vice President and CFO of Shapeez. "As evidenced by our recent sales numbers the public and industry are responding favorable to our in-house designed, patented shapewear and intimates products. With our move to the new Avenel Business Park facility, we are ensuring that our capabilities will be ahead of demand as we expand product offerings and move into new markets."
The new Shapeez offices will be located at 205 Perry Parkway in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
